Winter Term Phase 2

Lem has recently moved into their good friend's homestead while they are out and about...we're on an adventure!
1) I wish that the semester would hurry up and start so I can get back to normal and Rush would hurry up and end because we HATE it.
2) Its almost Valentines Day and lem needs to makes some of these <--- for their friends
3) Friends we miss you so much!!

New updates: We have cooked so much, you'd all be so proud! We made pasta with chicken, tomatoes, spinach and lemonpepper. we made chili. (well emfriend made those...) but we made open faced grilled cheeses annnnd pesto pasta...and pasta salad. and pancakes. and we had A COOKIE SWAP!!! and made plenty of cookies and baked goods. we made lo mein and we made cheesy veggie soup and we made fries out of potatoes and old bay seasoning...annnd some other schtuff as well...we have learnt how to finger weave, written letters to our friends and read matilda, the magic finger, james and the giant peach, and esio trot...all by roald dahl, so mant more to go but i have to wait for the library to get them in!

JANUARY

Lemila is going to be extremely busy this wonderful month! In order to distract from the crappy part of winter (post christmas-spring) we will be undertaking a few projects:

1) Working on plays at schooooooool with our two besties

2) Making a recipe a day (Lem: I have loaded a bunch of spices and ingredients up already, and I have my 12, do you have yours? ALSO. I have two cute vintage handmade aprons for us to wear whilst we cook/bake. We will take many pictures and let you all see them.)

3) Pick out a play for us to direct our senior year!

4) Finalize Summer in Chicago 2010 plans (ha, more like begin...)

And I have a couple projects of my own...like:

A) Read every Roald Dahl book. (I originally was going to read everything he ever wrote and then I wikipedia-ed him....very prolific writer...lots of essays, adult fiction, piles of nonfiction and poetry...maybe January I'll just tackle children's fiction, hmm?)

B) Learn to knit and crochet....can anyone teach me?
